EIRE: a positive experience in terms of relationships, attendance and encounters

The 6th edition of EIRE, the international event dedicated to the Mediterranean and Emerging Countries real estate market, has recently come to an end.

I would like to share the general outcomes of the event with you. EIRE 2010 was considered a positive experience in light of an otherwise troubled climate, a functional event characterised by constructive comparisons, and an intense experience in terms of relationships, attendance and encounters, as demonstrated by the following figures:

o 35,000 m2 of exhibiting space
o 473 companies and institutions present
o 14,000 professional operators from approximately 50 countries
o 326 registered journalists
o SOCIAL HOUSING EXHIBITION: 3,000 m2 of exhibiting space, 72 exhibitors and 86 projects.
o 65 conventions and project presentations, with a recorded attendance of approximately 3,300
o Approximately 50 events and conferences organised amongst the stands
o 54,097 unique visitors recorded by www.italiarealestate.it from January until today.

The overall result, in contrast to other industry events, is extremely positive insofar as it highlights the increased attendance of exhibitors and operators with respect to the previous edition.

EIRE is increasingly considered a point of reference for the network of relations amongst Community protagonists, and a point of synthesis for the year's work.

EIRE will concentrate its work on this network in order to support its continuity, through the use of innovative communication tools, partnerships with the sector's main media and the involvement of international investors, as well as the identification of specific strategic countries in which to organise business missions.

The next edition of EIRE will take place from 7th to 9th June 2011 at Fieramilano.
